I had white castle at this location for the first time ever last night. It was absolutely terrible. It was 8pm on Sunday night and we were starving, we got off the palisades and our choices were panera, taco bell/kfc, or white castle. I pushed for white castle as I had never been. It is by far the worst burger joint I have ever been to. The hamburger smelled amazing with the sautéed onions, but the rolls were very soggy and the meat is pretty much nonexistent. My wife had 1 slider and said she was done. I thought maybe I just got a bad one and dove in for a second. It was just as bad as the first. We tossed all the rest of them and stopped at a rest stop on I-87 and picked up McDonald's. Well, now I know, never again.
This is my childhood favorite, and whenever I have cravings, it never disappoints! It was fresh and hot, and exactly how I remember.
The service and food quality is improved! I witnessed a coach guiding the team. I have enjoyed White Castles for many decades. Still got the Crave!
This location is pretty big although I only used the drive thru window. The service was fast, my order accurate and plenty of parking space. It is,easy to see because of big signs and conveniently located on a main road.
It's White Castle! If you're a fan then you'll enjoy this, if you're not a fan, give it one more try. Easy to get to from i287. Very clean and speedy service.
